Digitech Serial Data Generator 2150A

Got this in the hope it might generate data usable by the Western Union Stock Ticker.  There is no manufacture name on the outside of the box but the power transformer is marked Digitech.  The internal printed circuit board is poplulted with dual in line packaged ICs.

High Level Output 1/4" phone jack
Free Run, Mark, Manual Step (momentary)
Distortion Type: Mark, Switch, Space
Stop Length: 1 bit, 2 bits
5-way binding posts: +5, Low Level Data Red and Black
Select Character Code Level: 5, 6, 7, 8
Character 1: eight toggle switches
Character 2: eight toggle switches
