HUMOR; *********************************** MORE ON PERRY CONNECTORS; Dennis: Re: William Perry Connectors -- Fax Is (502) 893 9220. No email that I know of . Suggest if you call him, ask for him. The kids there don't know squat about connectors that aren't common. He seems to be very knowledgable about the connectors for mil stuff. Dave Sundheimer W0NBZ w0nbz@juno.com Burnsville (near Minneapolis) Minnesota *********************************** WHATSIT; BG-128B ? Now We Know, But! Traded for a couple realy nice canvas bags the other day, was most delighted to find them as they should have been the carry bag for a BC-474. But when they got here they weren't? In fact their not even bags, rather are a cover for some peice of equipment about the size of a BC-348. They have a zippered flap on one side, and a bunch of wholes(eight) on the other either for the operation of controls through or to allow cable connections. Any ideas? Dennis ----------------------------------------------------- DENNIS: BG-128 is COVER,Amplifier, BC-908, (RC-58). Not sure what the (B) at the end of BG-128 meens though. Pat Lombardi ------------------------------------------------------ Dennis, The BG 128 B is the cover for the amplifier that is connected to the Recorder-Scanner, which is covered by a BG 118 B. this is a 1943 facsimilie machine. I think the amplifier was then connected to a radio set. The recorder Scanner sort of looks like a movie projector. If you want more details let me know. THE WILLIAM L. HOWARD ORDNANCE TECHNICAL INTELLIGENCE MUSEUM e-mail wlhoward@gte.net Telephone AC 813 585-7756 ------------------------------------------------------ If this so, then what bag is for the BC-474? The following is included with the guidelines sent to each member prior to their enlistment: [Concluding each Group Post is the "HUMOR" section. A collection of jokes, sometimes rather crude, & always pretty bad, but many think they help them get through the day. If you have little sense of humor, or are easily offended, best stay away from this section!] The last message received from Roger reads: [I defend your right to express your opinions. I only disagree with your use of a non political group, devoted to the subject of military radios, as a forum for them.] What a bunch of contradictory wishy washy shit! See below for the general member opinion"THE CONSENSUS", it's a shame Roger won't see it. Now enough of this crap, & back to business. Need a volunteer to supply info on the various receivers used with the ART-13/ATC/ATZ along with some facts about these transmitters, or should say this transmitter. Also any info on aireborne use of the BC-745/SCR-511 to complete the second part of MYSTERY RADIO. Dennis ------------------------------------------------- THE CONSENSUS; Hey, thanks for all the good Clinton jokes. Here's a couple I didn't see: Sheldon ------------------------------------------------- Dennis Roger? All I can say, is....KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK DENNIS! :-) /john -------------------------------------------------- Dennis, Don't be put off or angry by a few trouble makers. I am a member of a bunch of groups, and this group and your knowledge is the 'best of the best' of Military information. I have learned that no matter how hard you try and how much of your time you donate to people there are always a few Rogers in the bunch, and frankly they are not worth the effort of a response. Please keep up the good work and the great net. 73s George KC5WBV ------------------------------------------------- Who the hell was Roger Leone? A replacement for Eric Jones? Did he ever complete a membership profile? I would point out that if he doesn't like the jokes, there is no requirement to read them. Bill -------------------------------------------------- Dennis: I've said it before, and I'll say it again...thou hast a weird sense of humor! A Clinton Joke - "Mr. President, what will we do about this new abortion bill?" "Pay it." Stan --------------------------------------------------- Hi Dennis, i would like to add my 2 cents worth about your humor selection HURRAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoy it and read every one of them and share copys with my buddys .Perhaps Roger should be encouraged to try to win the darwin award . Thanks and keep on truckin ,Lee ----------------------------------------------------- HI DENNIS I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT ROGER. IN FACT IF WE ARE NOT ALLOWED OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT YELLING FIRE IN A CROWDED THEATER I THINK IT WOULD BE TIME TO LOCK AND LOAD AND USE THE RADIOS TO HELP US AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT. UNTIL THEN I LIKE HEARING AND READING ANY TYPE OF JOKES I CAN GET. TODD KA0ZDD@JUNO.COM ******************************** HUMOR; More Clinton Files, just for Roger! Hey, thanks for all the good Clinton jokes. Here's a couple I didn't see: Most people get AIDS from sex; but President Clinton gets sex from aides. The price of oil has skyrocketed; rumor has it that the President is drilling in the White House again. There's a new game in the White House. It's called "Swallow the Leader" ----------------------------------------------- "Mr. President, what will we do about this new abortion bill?" "Pay it."! ----------------------------------------------- STARR I ARE -- a newly discovered tale by Dr. Seuss I'm here to ask As you'll soon see -- Did you grope Miss Lewinsky? Did you grope her In your house? Did you grope Beneath her blouse? I did not do that Here nor there-- I did not do that Anywhere! I did not do that Near or far -- I did not do that Starr-You-Are. Did you smile? Did you flirt? Did you peek Beneath her skirt? And did you tell the girl to lie When called upon To testify? I do not like you Starr-You-Are -- I think that you Have gone too far. I will not answer Any more -- Perhaps I will go Start a war! The public's easy To distract -- When bombs are Falling on Iraq! ----------------------------------------------- Do you realize, that if this Clinton thing gets out of hand, he will be the first president to be blown out of office? ----------------------------------------------- ed) personally, I like dumb blond jokes better, but we work with what we get. ******************************** EDITOR; Dennis Starks; MILITARY RADIO COLLECTOR/HISTORIAN military-radio-guy@juno.com
