This is a "Jeep" that came before the M38. It's very similar to the Willis MB (Wiki). This example was made in March 1942 by Ford and is referred to as a "Script" Ford because of the markings. One of the guests at a Union Pacific Caboose aniversaty party parked it near the caboose so we could have a look.
