Background

It's a noise canceling handset very much like the H-250 (or  H-350).  The thing that's different is the coiled cord is about 6' long and has spade terminals, not a connector.

This came on the surplus market in Nov. 2014 as new old stock, still wrapped in the foil bag.

Purchased from eBay seller: pigskinpeterman

Used on the M551A1 Sheridan light tank (Wiki) located behind the left tail light assembly.

Wire Ends

Instead of the common U-229 audio connector the coiled cord is terminated with terminals.  That was to connect to the C-2296 Outside VIC-1 control box.
It would be more useful if a U-229 connector was installed.  But first the wiring needs to be figured out:
